Pastor Testimony:
Pastor tells us his testimony: My name is Candelario Quiñones Mulgado, and I was born in the city of Ensenada in 1967. Before Christ, I felt an emptiness in my heart and I studied with the Jehovah’s Witnesses for two years. Still, I did not feel peace and I fell into a life of drugs. But years laters, when I received Christ, I went all in. I started to serve God wherever the pastor would send me. I started by washing the pastor's car, cleaning his shoes, cleaning the church, teaching Sunday school to the youth, and anything that was needed. I was the first one in my entire family to receive Christ in my heart, and it caused a rift in my family. They told me they preferred me to stay with drugs than Jesus. But I didn't give up; with time, I won my mother and grandfather for Christ! These days, many members of my family have been won for Jesus. My wife began attending church and we met when she was 13. Her testimony is so powerful! After dating for a while, my wife and I got married. We have been married for 36 years now, and we have 4 kids and 3 grandchildren.

Roca de Salvación’s vision as a church is to see the community transformed by the love of God. They are accomplishing this through preaching the Gospel and through kids programs like Bible school, free breakfast for kids every Saturday, and programs for the youth in the community with Bible studies and sports activities. Women's and men’s programs like Bible studies and craft clubs are also an important part of the church. They have a dream to finish the new building that would serve as a blessing to our community, which has many people experiencing financial and physical poverty.
