We made it to Nicaragua safe and sound. We are so excited to serve alongside the local church and to see what God has in store for us this week.

First Dinner in Nicaragua!

by Quevit Francisco | June 15, 2024 11:39 PM

We had our first delicious dinner at Tip Top Fried Chicken Nicaraguan Restaurant.  The food was very delicious. After dinner we headed to the city of Matagalpa to rest and prepare for our first day of service.

Our Local Pastors

by Geovanny Molina | June 16, 2024 12:01 PM

There is no better way to start this week than by meeting our local pastors Meyling and William who have been working in this community for 16 years. We feel motivated by their example and we feel honored to be able to work with them during this week.

Food Distribution Prep

by Geovanny Molina | June 16, 2024 12:24 PM

We are about to begin our food distribution but first we take a moment to pray for each family who will be blessed with this food. We know that this food can be the answer to many prayers that families may have.

Pray for Each Other

by Geovanny Molina | June 16, 2024 2:50 PM

The purest act of communion for Christians is to pray for one another. Today we had the opportunity to visit homes and motivate our brothers and sisters in Christ to continue growing in faith.

God is Seeing us

by Geovanny Molina | June 16, 2024 11:09 PM

This afternoon we had an excellent time with the children of our congregation. After laughter, games, snacks and fun we understood that God takes care of us at any time and is always watching over us.

Worship Time

by Geovanny Molina | June 17, 2024 10:31 AM

There is nothing better than worshiping our God as brothers and sisters in Christ, even though we speak different languages, we worship the same God and that is all that matters.

Sharing the Gospel through our Testimonies

by Geovanny Molina | June 17, 2024 10:44 AM

God has been so good in our lives and as Christians we feel the need to share the wonders that God has done in our lives, since our life is a living testimony of God's grace.

The Body of Christ!

by Quevit Francisco | June 17, 2024 12:50 PM

Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity. It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion. For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.

Psalm 133:1-3

Shout Out to Jesus

by Geovanny Molina | June 17, 2024 1:10 PM

Tonight God spoke to us through a powerful message and reminded us that despite being the creator of the universe he will always stop to see us just as Jesus did with the blind Bartimaeus.

It is incredible how despite the hard work, we have had time to live and talk with our brothers from this beautiful community that has made us feel so loved from the first moment we arrived here.

Being His Disciples

by Geovanny Molina | June 17, 2024 2:50 PM

“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.””

We continue to get to know our local family and what better way to do so than in the comfort of their homes? We appreciate the warm welcome that each one gave us in their homes.

Our Father the Good Shepherd

by Geovanny Molina | June 18, 2024 10:25 AM

On our second day of VBS we learned that God is always looking for us when we are lost. It is good to remember how our heavenly father loves us.

The Kingdom of Heaven

by Geovanny Molina | June 18, 2024 10:59 AM

“Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.””

Cleaning Service at the Neighborhood!

by Abraham Siles Seiman | June 18, 2024 12:48 PM

Today, we gathered as a community of believers, filled with the spirit of service and fellowship. With hearts set on glorifying God through our actions, we joined hands with our brothers and sisters in christ to cleanse and beautify our neighborhood. Our mission was not only to tidy the physical spaces but also to reflect the love and grace of Christ in our actions.

The church is active and united.  Serving with much gratitude and love.  We are very grateful for this opportunity to share the love of Christ in the Sabadell neighborhood where the Amor y Paz church is located.   We will continue to pray for the gospel of Christ to be preached and for this neighborhood to be reached by the love of Jesus.

Sharing the Love of Christ in the Youth Service!

by Abraham Siles Seiman | June 18, 2024 11:50 PM

Today, our congregation gathered for a spiritually enriching session that combined worship, some fun activities, and testimony sharing. We began with some fun activities for sharing with the youth of the community that fostered unity and joy.
This was followed by a powerful worship time creating an atmosphere where we felt the beautiful movement of the holy spirit.
Members then shared powerful testimonies of God’s work in their lives, highlighting God's interventions and spiritual growth.

Worshiping and Praising Jesus!

by Abraham Siles Seiman | June 19, 2024 12:01 AM

Finally we gathered at the church all together for a vibrant time of singing and praising the Lord. The atmosphere was charged with the Holy Spirit as all the voices lifted in unison, worshiping with joyful hearts.

Songs of praise echoed through the hall, each melody a heartfelt offering to our Savior. With hands raised high and eyes closed, we felt the presence of God moving among us, filling us with His love and grace.

Ephesians 5:18-19 NLT

18. Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, 19. singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.

Painting Project at the Local Church!

by Abraham Isai Siles Seiman | June 20, 2024 7:40 AM

Yesterday, we had the blessing of participating in a painting project at our local church. Our team gathered to serve and assist the pastors, dedicating our time and efforts to beautifying the house of the Lord. The project was an act of fellowship and unity, as we worked side by side to refresh the church's appearance. Throughout the day, we felt a profound sense of purpose, knowing that our work would help to create a more inviting and inspiring space for worship and community gatherings. By using our God-given talents to serve His church, we aimed to glorify God and reflect His love and grace in our actions. It was a truly enriching experience that strengthened our bonds and deepened our commitment to serving His kingdom.

Yesterday, we experienced a touching moment of generosity when the church gifted us beautiful souvenirs to take back home. This thoughtful gesture filled our hearts with gratitude and joy. Each memento served as a tangible reminder of the love and fellowship we share within our church community. We felt blessed and deeply thankful for these tokens of appreciation, which symbolize the enduring bonds we have forged through our faith. Yesterday, we faced a poignant and heartfelt moment as we said goodbye to our beloved church community. Leaving behind the warmth and fellowship we’ve cherished was undeniably difficult. The bonds we’ve formed, strengthened by shared faith and collective service, made the farewell all the more emotional. As we exchanged final embraces and heartfelt words, there was a palpable sense of sadness, but also gratitude for the time we’ve spent together.
