Fountain City United Methodist Church

Drema and myself are gearing up to meet our team tonight, and we stopped at a wonderful ice cream place in Wilmington! 

The team has arrived at Facts Of Life and are very excited to start the week!

Before his church service, Pastor Billy Roy had us over to his church for a delicious Father’s Day breakfast!

Today we are building a ramp for a resident of whiteville who has been in a car accident recently. We had so many willing workers!

Paul was a great teacher for our group on how to use different tools safely to reach our goal, and he made sure everyone got a chance to use everything!

We’re making progress on the base of the ramp, with everyone helping we might be done ahead of schedule!

After lunch, we went to Pastor Billy Roy’s new church to help out with his new church! The girls did a great job cleaning!

This morning the team put together a delicious breakfast of bacon, eggs, and buttermilk biscuits!

Time to take a break and play with the creatures we found in the dirt!

Maybe we’ll get a tan?

Today the other team is working to dig up stumps along someone’s house. It was a big job that the team proved more than capable to do!

Jackson was our man with the axe today as we tried to dig out stumps.

We finished the ramp! Time to load up!

Wednesday Billy Roy held a youth service at his church. Such an amazing time of prayer and peace in the Lord!

As we wrap up, we’ll remember this trip with great joy in the future. This trip has taught us how important it is to build relationships with each other and be missionaries in the world but also within our own group of people.
