First Baptist Church Belton

HELLO!! We made it to Costa Rica and drove all the way to the church! We're super excited to see what God wants to do with us this week!

Josué, Kimberly, Maikel, and Roxana are our staff for this week! We look forward to serving together and being God's hands and feet!

Thank God we're here! This church has a beautiful green are and we're more than sure we'll have great times of ministry over here. Pray God guides us!

Today we gathered for Sunday service to give glory and honor to God as a single church!

Pastor Matthew taught about the true meaning of the good Samaritan story and how we're called to be obedient and do the right thing when our opportunity comes.

We went to the grocery store to get all the items we needed for food distribution during the week!

Before starting our first oficial day of ministry, one of the cooks wanted us to pray over her so God does a miracle in her health. We believe He is a God of miracles, and in His will nothing is imposible.

In order for us to start building the kitchen, we needed to measure, cut and plant the rebar in the concrete, and Charlie did great work helping out with that!

We've been delighted with Costa Rican food, and some of us have asked the cooks to teach us how to cook some of these delicious dishes!

Today families let us into their house and even gave us their baby to hold and see them. It's so nice how welcoming people in this community are!

The whole point of this ministry was this; seeing those women of God being touched by Him and feeling loved and cared for. 

We had a blast on our last day of VBS playing and teaching the kids about Jesus and their salvation through Jesus! 

We had the see you later service in the dining area, where we gathered with the church members to say see you later and share God's love to each other.

Pastors from Guayabal gave us a picture of the group with the volunteers from the local church so we can frame it when we get back home.

After a week full or hard work and strong emotions, we leave Guayabal's church with big tears and smiles! God has make us feel overjoyed during this week in Costa Rica!
