Epiphany UMC

On our way to ride the Light Rail Train we stopped by the Vikings football stadium for a photo opportunity. 

We road the train from Minneapolis to St. Paul.  Our last stop was Union Station in St. Paul where we got into small groups to pray for the cities and the people we will be serving. 

Monday morning was spent at The Villas, a long term care facility.  We beautified the outdoor seating area by improving the landscaping.  We weeded, cleaned, pruned, and planted.  Our team took pleasure in selecting just the right plants and flowers for the job.

After our work outside we came together to pray over the residents and facility.

We enjoyed God's beauty and played at Beebe Lake for a couple hours.   Great time for team building. 

Today we stopped at a local park to eat our lunch.  While there we met Scott and Delorean.  While eating we visited and shared our lunch.  Before we left, Scott asked if he could pray for our team and our ministries this week.  After Scott prayed for us we then prayed for him and Delorean.  It was such a great lunchtime blessing. 

At Feed My Starving Children we packed 1052 meals.   To God be the glory always!

Putting in new mulch was one of the many projects we completed to beautify the landscape at the Anoka Community Mission.   This local ministry serves families and children in need with food and clothing. 

Working with Arrive Ministries we were able to move in and setup furniture for a family of 10 that just arrived to the Minneapolis area.  

Today we are at our host, Andover Christian Church.   We cleaned, weeded, prepared an area for grass seed and moved furniture.   We also had a large project building 24 acoustic boxes to help absorb sound in the new childrens area.
