Today we started the morning with a Sunday service with the Benque Nazarene. We praised and worshiped together. It was so powerful the message that Pastor Cano shared about Jesus being our light and our salvation. We should be a light in the darkness and not be afraid.
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?

On day two we went shopping for groceries. We had so much fun working together. Then we went and packed the bags. We also prayed and blessed the bags for the families that will receive them.

Today we went to the Howard Smith Nazarene School in Benque. We got to meet new kids and were so happy to see the kids that we met last year. We spent quality time with them playing soccer, painting finger nails and also blowing bubbles.

Day three the Children had a blast at Vacation Bible School learning how Matthew was called by Jesus to follow him and hosted a party to celebrate their newfound friendship and faith.

Today we had another amazing day going out in the community visiting families. We saw how God moves powerfully in the lives of these families. It's amazing to see the impact these homes have on us. These are life changing moments. We are so excited to continue doing food distribution tomorrow and meeting new people.
Please keep us in your prayers.

On day four of Vacation Bible School, the children learned about how the Samarithan woman was amazed by Jesus' knowledge of her life and shared her experience with others enthusiastically. The children also participated in many sports games and others were engaging in craft work.

On our last day we went back to visit the school to have fun with the kids. They were so happy to see us back. We all enjoyed playing together.

Today, at the campfire, the youth worshiped God in beautiful singing. We were also encouraged by Tyler's message to look at David's bravery. He didn't let his age or size hold him back from taking on the lion or the bear, instead he faced the challenge head on and emerged victorious. This teaches us that we should never underestimate ourselves and always have the courage to overcome any obstacle that comes our way.

Tonight we had moments of mixed emotions-some happy, some sad, because it was our last night with our families in Benque Nazarene. We all had a chance to share treasured moments that have changed our lives forever. We thank the Lord for this opportunity to be a part of this church family. So it is not a goodbye but a see you later.

Our last night, in Belize, at the island was so awesome; because we had to share the life experience that we had in Benque Nazarene church. We heard lots of wonderful stories from the students. Stories of how God moved within their lives.
