One Fellowship

Mikey, Jeric and Katherine will be leading our team this week. We are beyond excited to see them for the second time in CR.

Today we had a wonderful time with the church. We worshiped together, got to hear John’s testimony, and had Scott bring the message about the sufficiency of the grace of God to our lives.

We went to the store to get the groceries that will be distributed throughout the week for food distribution. We will be able to bless 20 families this week.

After buying the groceries, we returned to the church to bag everything up and took some time to pray for the families and houses we will be visiting this week. We don’t want just to deliver food but to bless them spiritually and share Jesus with them. 

This afternoon we had the chance to learn a little more about pastor and pastora. It was enjoyable to hear their stories about how they met and how they started in ministry. After finishing our chat, we wrapped up our time praying for them, asking the Lord to bless them and their family. 

Alright! Today we started with one of the projects expected for this week. We split the group into two teams. The first team (as you can see) took down one of the walls of the sanctuary in order to have more room for the people of the church. 

While the second team was working with the community, we visited some houses this morning. We got to know a little bit more about the people who came to the church. We prayed for the families and we delivered some groceries to bless them. 

This afternoon we spent time with the kids of the community, we shared the story about Jesus and how he fed five thousand people, we prayed for the kids, we did some crafts, we danced a lot, played some games and we had some snacks, we had so much fun! 

This morning we continued doing food distribution. We visited this lady. She lives alone with her 3 kids but there was another lady, that is her friend and she came from another part of the country just to take care of her and her kids. She taught us about how important our friends are. 

Today we were also mixing some concrete. We were helping to build the sidewalk in front of the classrooms bathrooms. We were working really hard and no matter the sun, the rain or how tired we were, we were working until the end. 

Today we had around 50 kids in our Bible study. We could not believe it! We shared a lot with the kids and we also told the story about how Jesus calmed the storm, once the disciples were on the boat and afraid. We also danced, did some crafts and painted funny faces on the kids.

Today we started placing the ceiling panels in the kitchen area and at the same time having fun, why not? 

Yesterday we finished our working days delivering some bags of groceries to the amazing people we had in the kitchen and also the guys who helped us in the construction, that was our way to say thank you for their hard work these days. 

Yesterday's night we had our last service to say see you soon, this week has been unbelievable, we have loved, we have created bonds, so many relationships and we could see the Holy Spirit in so many ways.

Mission accomplished!
