The Mount

We have arrived to the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico!, this is our second time coming here and we are excited!; we're now having a delicious pinchos lunch and enjoying the beach view.

This morning we're worshiping with our brothers and sisters of Primera Iglesia Bautista de Country Club; is a blessing to be back!.

First day of VBS. Crafts, devotion and sport activities. The children learned Bible stories as well. 

After a great first day of VBS we're now scraping and painting the church fence. This new paint will give the church a fresh look for all the community to see. We love getting to help anyway we can!

Tonight we're joining with our brothers and sisters from Iglesia Bautista de Country Club in their Bible Study. Two of our team members, Brandon and Carmen, lead the Bible Study on being rooted in the Lord!

After service we stoped at a local ice cream shop. They have different flavors like mango, guava and passion fruit. We're grateful for this cold treat after a long hot day.

This afternoon, we're preparing sandwiches to distribute to people experiencing homelessness. Hopefully people will let us pray for them to as we distribute and we can bring them the hope Jesus give even in the circumstances.

For the rest of the afternoon will be finishing up the painting in the church fence. We already see the progress and we're ready to see it done!

On this beautiful Wednesday we're joining our VBS kids on a field trip to a water park called el rancho. We had so much fun with the kids and loved getting to know them more.

We're sad is our last day at VBS with the kids but excited to have time with them. Today at our lesson we're learning about our greatest hero; Jesus, how he died for us and how much He loves us.

We're so, so thankful to Primera Iglesia Bautista de Country Club and Pastor Luis  for partnering with us and serving with them this week. We have seen God move in this community and pray continued presence upon Country Club and Puerto Rico.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

In the afternoon, we're taking some time to explore a little of the Island at the rainforest. We love getting to see God's beautiful creation in Puerto Rico.

After the Rainforest, we went to Luquillo Beach. We had so much fun swimming and walking around the coast.

This morning is sadly our last day in beautiful Puerto Rico and we're spending it at Old San Juan one of Puerto Rico's most historic cities. We've loved getting to serve in this Island and getting to know the culture and wonderful people. 

We couldn't leave Puerto Rico without trying a local restaurant, Raíces in Old San Juan. Grateful for good food and getting to hangout together before we get to the Airport.
