FBC (Ferris) Youth

Coming together with our partner in Anthem Church to pray over our serving teams and church service!

We all jumped right into the Florida heat helping Anthem Church clean out some of their hedges before mulching!

This morning our wonderful host pastor, Steve, came to the church early to serve us breakfast. On his way here he unfortunately got a flat tire. A few of us were able to help him change the flat before leaving for ministry today! 

Today we were able to help the Community Cooperative with the organization of their closets. We moved them out of their storage unit into a new spacious storage building!

Tonight we headed to Ft. Myers beach after a long day of work. We were able to have some fun in the water and build sand castles. We wrapped up the night with devotions as a team, on the beach. 

Our team of six went to a home today and worked on flooring, trimming, doors, and so much more. We learned many new skills with new tools. We learned how to continue working through frustration. Everyone did an amazing job adapting and being willing to learn! 

Today we split back into our different work groups again at various homes. Some of us had the opportunity to learn and work on plumbing. Many new skills have been acquired.

Our young fella, Noah, got down to the nitty gritty leveling out some dirt! We're so thankful to serve Fort Myers through the love of Jesus!

Thank goodness the weather held out today! We got to enjoy the Florida beaches after a great week of ministry! We even got some surfing in!
