The team arrived safely today after a long day of traveling and got to reunite with friends, now turned family, at our partner church. We are ready and excited for this coming week, and we can't wait to see what God has in store for us and the community.

Starting off the week we were able to lead Sunday school for all the different ages, the classes were from kinder up to adult.

Right after Sunday school we got to lead the morning service. Jennifer and Christine gave testimonies and Pastor Garrett delivered the word.

In the afternoon we packed up and headed to Kings Children's Home where we got to have a puppet show, sing some worship songs and play games. "Monkey Bwai" and "Shelly belly" were back in action again.

After getting back, we ended the day by splitting up to have dinner with different families in the church. This allowed us to connect more with these families in their homes.

Starting off the second full day of ministry we lead a chapel at Nazarene High School with the third and fourth formers. We got to play a game with them and Ashlyn shared the devotional.

After Chapel we headed over to Buttonwood Bay Primary School to lead VBS. We had different rotations, and this group did songs like "Peace like a River' and "The Banana Split" with the classes. During the week I will show what the other groups did.

After lunch we had another chapel session with the high school but with the first and second formers. We played a similar game with the younger students but this time Loryn was able to give the devotion.

Ending off the day we taught some students from the high school about our favorite sport, Pickleball. They were able to learn more about the sport and also got to bond more with the leaders.

This morning we headed to Buttonwood Bay Primary School to do morning devotion with the kids before starting VBS. We had the puppets tell a story about how different people used the talents God gave them, and taught them what should be done with our talents. We also got to sing songs and our banana friends made an appearance.

After devotion with the kids we went straight into VBS. This group did crafts with them. They had small frisbees with their talent either drawn or written inside. This was done to represent them throwing their talents into the world so they could share it with others.

Ending off the day we lead the men's and women's meeting at the church. We had a spa night with the ladies and the men had a games night. We were able to be humble servants towards them just like Jesus was when he walked the earth.

This morning we returned to the Highschool to lead Chapel again with some of the students. Tori gave the devotion and at the end of the service we had an alter call where we prayed over the students.

We headed right back to VBS for day 3 and this group lead the games section. The kids were engaged and they interacted well with each other.

After lunch we got to teach more of the high school students pickle ball because we were with classes that had Physical Education. They were eager to learn about a new game that they didn’t know how to play .

This afternoon we were able to visit one of the places we connected with the most with over the years, Rootsville. We visited old friends and we also went into houses to pray for them and give an invitation to the concert we are having tomorrow.

Ending off a ministry packed day, we had Bible study at our partner church. Instead of having it normal with the big group, the men, the women and the youths were all in separate studies. We went deeper into how we should use the talents God gave to us.

We started off the day joining Ebenezer Methodist School leading their Chapel this morning. It was great being able to experience another primary school in the city, getting to see how they worship.

Today was our last day of VBS with the students from Buttonwood Bay, this last group told the Bible story to the kids with a skit. The story they chose was the Parable of the Talents, this was incorporated into everything done this week and of course the skit was based off of that story. Matthew 25:14-30

At the end of the day we headed back to Rootsville to have a mini concert for the adults and the kids with some praise and worship. The kids enjoyed the puppet show that we had but it even touched some of the adults. Our banana friends had to pop up for our favorite “The banana split”.

We started off our last day of ministry having a longer service with Nazarene High school. Just like previous years, we had a panel with some of the team members and they answered questions that the students asked. We were able to give Christian advice, answered to the best of our ability, to anything they wanted to ask.

We had our last pickle ball session with the classes at the high school and even more kids joined wanting to learn. We pray that they could take the skills they learnt and use it to teach others about this new sport.

Ending off the day and a packed week of ministry, we spent it with the youths of Kings Park Church of the Nazarene. We had games, a powerful time of praise and worship, and Trent gave the devotion. Trent talked about how important it is to walk in the spirit and not to follow the flesh by using the Fruits of the Spirit. Galatians 5:16-26
We had a great week of ministry and we were happy to see how God was able to move in everything we were able to do.
