Redeemer United Methodist Church

The team has arrived safely and they are ready to minister this week! They are so excited to work alongside Pastor Thomas and Virgie Baptist Church.

It's always fun getting together.

We love when we are able to sit down and hear the stories of the wise-while playing games and painting nails.

Today part of the team began some renovations on Ms. Rhonda's home. They have built new steps, installed a new door, as well as built a new back porch. We enjoyed spending time with Ms. Rhonda and hearing her story!

We were blessed today to help Smile Faith Appalachia start cleaning up from the flood. And we were humbled to learn the history about this property.

We got the opportunity to help one of the locals repair some of his roof and porch.

Today we played bingo with the residents of Cedar Creek Assisted Living. It was great to spend time with them and listen to their stories!

Mrs. Rhonda was so happy with her  new door and porch! It was literally an answered prayer for her!

It was so much fun working side by side with Elmer.

It's time for us to relax iand  eat some amazing food after a hard days work.

We had a great time working with Smile Faith Appalachia. They had 11 acres of land flooded during the 2022 flood and we were able to help some with the clean up. They have such a big vision for their community and we were so happy to be a part of it!

With each brick that was laid a prayer was said. We have the opportunity to make just a little part of the dream come true for a smile Faith Appalachia

It's been a good week and I love the fact that we were able to sit down as a family too enjoy dinner for the last night.
