This morning we went for a walk in the streets of the community, we visited 10 families. We heard many stories, testimonies and saw how people live in this community.

Today on our first VBS day we had 81 children. They learned about Noah. We had songs, crafts, games and of course, a lot of fun.

This morning in the food distribution we met Jazmin, she is 16. She was involved in an accident that left her in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. She has a beautiful smile!

Juliana is a 95 years old lady, with more than 60 years of being a christian. She worked hard founding many churches in the communities around Santa Gertrudis. She used to be a midwife in the community helping other women give birth to their children. Mother of 8 children, grandmother of (well she doesn't remember how many grandchildren she has) the visit to her home was a blessing. Now she is our Guatemalan grandmother.

This morning we also met this beautiful family. Lester is the father, Estela the mother and their children Margarita, Dori and Moises. A very united and hard working family. Visiting their home was a great blessing.

Our host church was very grateful for our work. 
The truth is that we received more than what we gave this week. We were impacted by a very special community and church this week. 
Tonight we had to say goodbye to all of them, but in our hearts will remain every moment lived with each one of them.
