The Bridge Church

The team arrived safely after a long drive yesterday evening. Everyone is getting plugged in to serve alongside our host, Ballard Church, ensuring that all who attend feel welcome and loved on this gorgeous Seattle morning!

We are serving breakfast this morning at New Horizons ministries. It is a delight to see an organization making such a massive and tangible impact for the young adults of Seattle. And Renner's good cookin' makes it all the better!

Today we are renovating the Sunday school area of Ballard Church by repainting a deceptively large wall affectionately named "The Lil Big". This space will be used to teach classes on questions of faith and theology and introduce new congregation members to the church.

Partnering with We Heart Seattle, an organization dedicated to cleaning up the public spaces of Seattle and fighting homelessness, we bagged up and hauled out 6,000 pounds of trash!
