After a day full of travel we made it to Minnesota! We are so excited to serve and grow closer to God this week and we can’t wait to see what he has in store!

We had the privilege of joining Compassion Church for worship this morning! We got to meet Pastor Rob and hear a message from the book of Joshua about walking by faith in our God who is faithful. We're praising God for His faithfulness - He's the same across time and place, from the time of the Israelites to today, from Nebraska to Minnesota!

This afternoon, we hopped on the Light Rail and got to not only tour the Twin Cities but also shine the light of Jesus and pray over this place. We love starting the week by getting a glimpse of this community and lifting it up in prayer!

We are starting off our Monday bright and early by serving breakfast at Stepping Stone! This ministry is an emergency shelter that provides longer-term housing than most shelters in the cities. We had the opportunity to serve the residents a hot breakfast with a smile and to get to know them!

After serving breakfast, we had the opportunity to assist the staff of Stepping Stone by cleaning, organizing, and replenishing their supply closets. We had teams folding blankets, hanging up clothes, and creating hygiene kits! We hope this blesses the staff as they tirelessly serve.

We enjoyed eating lunch with the residents of Stepping Stone and getting to know them better, and then we ended our time with this ministry by painting rocks and writing cards of encouragement for anyone here who may need uplifting. We used our creativity to leave reminders of truth and hope!

To start off our Tuesday, we partnered with Anoka Community Mission, a Christ-centered organization that blesses people in need by providing food, clothing, books and other resources. One of the ways we got to serve was by packaging hygiene items like Tide pods and toilet paper for distribution. Maya and Olivia were our Tide pod packing experts today!

At Anoka Community Mission, we got to hear a lot about what this ministry does and the many unique and incredible ways God has provided for it. We ended our time here in prayer that God would continue to bless it and supply its needs. We are confident that He will just like He has before!

We spent our morning at Hope4Youth, right next door to Compassion Church! This organization is seeking to end youth homelessness by providing resources and connections for young people in the community. We spruced up the outside by picking up trash and pulling weeds while others of us made tie blankets, bracelets, painted rocks, and cards of encouragement for the youth!

We walked through downtown Anoka with Pastor Rob, praying over this community that we've had the blessing of serving this week. We prayed over the business owners, government officials, and residents of this city, asking God to do what only He can!

We said "see you later" to Pastor Rob today. We're grateful we had the opportunity to partner with Compassion Church and join them in ministry this week!

Today was our recreation day in Minneapolis! We visited Minnehaha Falls (we're thankful the Lord held back the rain for us!), enjoyed a Twins baseball game, and did some shopping at the iconic Mall of America. What a fun way to end the week!

We're on the road headed back to Nebraska! Our trip may be over, but we're excited to continue serving and seeking the Lord at home. We can't wait to share stories of how He moved this week!
