"Belize Bound! The NCIS Senior Class landed safely and dove right into mission week. We met the inspiring Pastor Trancito and Carmita Mai in Douglas – true testaments to their faith! Here's to a week of service and cultural immersion."

Today was an amazing first day of ministry! We started by packing food baskets to bless families in Douglas Village. Alongside Pastor Mai, we then headed out into the community to spread the word about our VBS, youth night and church service. It's a wonderful feeling to be able to serve and connect with our community!

Our first day of VBS was full of fun! We met so many cute little faces filled with laughter who were so enthusiastic to learn about the fruits of the Spirit! Games, arts and bubbles made this day so special!

This morning we were encouraged by hearing the story of a young man who came to Jesus asking how he can obtain eternal life! So in order for this to happen we should humble ourselves and leave behind everything that separates us from God!

Day 2 of VBS was powerful! Our NICS team was on fire, ready to keep teaching the kids about the fruits of the spirit. Crafts and games were a blast, but nothing beat building relationships with the amazing kiddos from Douglas Village.

One of our participants shared a powerful message on Psalm 139 tonight, and it truly resonated with everyone. It was a beautiful reminder of God's constant presence, a comforting hand guiding us even in the darkest moments. We are fearfully and wonderfully made, known and loved by the Divine.

Huge shout-out to the team today! Despite the scorching sun and sweat, we tackled every project and finished strong! We conquered the bridge project, proving that no job is too big when we work together. With God's grace on our side, we're ready for whatever comes next!

Colossians 3:23-24
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."

Last day of VBS was a blast! Even more kids joined us today, and they were all so excited to worship. We had different stations set up, including games, face painting, and crafts, that the kids thoroughly enjoyed. To wrap things up, we had a closing ceremony and said our goodbyes. It was such an amazing time spent with the children!

As we wrapped up the day, the talented cooks served us a delicious final dinner. Pastor Mai offered a heartfelt thank you to our group, and we all enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship. We are truly grateful for God's blessings.

Leaving Douglas village after such an amazing week is bittersweet. We'll carry the warmth of the people's beautiful smiles and contagious laughter in our hearts. God willing, we'll have the opportunity to return and serve this wonderful community again.
